The lineup to Blue Ridge Rock Festival just keeps getting stronger. It was already stacked with reunions and special appearances, not to mention some all-out powerhouses in music.

The Festival kicked off announcements almost two months ago with TAPROOT, who hasn’t toured since 2013, quickly followed by a rare festival performance from FINGER ELEVEN and then the WOE, IS ME reunion. They brought out the heavy with PANTERA, PARKWAY DRIVE, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER. They traveled the world and landed PATIENT SIXTY-SEVEN, LANDMVRKS and ALPHAWOLF. They captured the fans’ most-voted HEARTSICK. They went back in time and brought in VINCE NEIL, STEPHEN PEARCY, and MEGADETH. They added comedy-metal legends PSYCHOSTICK. They stacked a pre-party with NONPOINT, 10 YEARS, and Scott Stapp. Then they went and pulled in one of the biggest names in rock as one of the eight headliners – SHINEDOWN.
Somehow, someone looked at all these announcements and said, “Hold my beer. This just isn’t crazy enough yet.” So they announced deathcore’s EMMURE‘s first US show in 4 years. Artist Announcement #68 came in even louder featuring a reunion of the original lineup of BIOHAZARD. As mentioned in the announcement, the Brookyln-based Hardcore Legends pioneered the sound of punk and metal, infused with elements of hip-hop. The video for their song “Punishment” is the most played video in the history of the iconic MTV’s Headbangers Ball. With millions of albums sold, BIOHAZARD is one of the best-selling Hardcore Bands of all-time, as well as one of the most storied.
And, just a few hours later as we try desperately to wrap up this writing, ANOTHER banger drops – UNTIL I WAKE will make their debut appearance at Blue Ridge! So we’re gonna get to posting this before it’s outdated AGAIN!
